Our history

Mike Flores founded M1 Industries in December of 2009 transporting heavy lift equipment and pallet racking. Soon after, Mike decided to start buying and selling some of the lifts and quickly dissolved the transportation aspect of the business and focused his efforts on selling all types of lift equipment and storage rack systems. Since 2009, M1 Industries has diversified itself by not only selling forklifts, but selling pallet racks, conveyor, and shelving. From plastic totes for small parts storage to Mezzanines and Pallet Rack, we serve all industries with quality, new and used warehouse equipment.

In September of 2016 a new corporate entity was formed - M1 Industries, Inc.

In January of 2017, shortly after the corporation was formed, M1 Industries, Inc.earned a California Contractor’s License.

In September of 2017, M1 Industries, Inc. leases its first building- centrally located in the City of Whittier, California.


In January of 2022, M1 Industries, Inc. moved corporate headquarters to Bakersfield, CA to expand operations in the Central Valley.
